Maces

Maces

A heavier weapon makes for a heavier blow. Maces provide maximum potential to stun and cripple enemies, and are generally considered the most barbaric weapon type.

Stunned enemies cannot dodge.

Barbaric Breakthrough Stance Ability 35 5 "Bones? You mean bonemeal?"

Enter stance with 9 turns duration.

Using a bludgeon or mace ability extends the duration by 1 turn.

Gain +30% cripple chance and +5 accuracy.

Barbaric Persistence Upgrade - - Using a bludgeon or mace ability extends the duration of Barbaric Breakthrough by 2 turns.
Bashful Temperament Passive - - "With enough force, anything can be broken."

For each level of Maces gain:

+1% damage with maces.

+1 mace mastery, enabling you to wield higher-level maces effectively.

Blurring Speed Upgrade - -

While High Grip is active, each hit grants a stack of Blurring Speed, up to a maximum of 10 stacks.

Each stack grants +3 Dodge.

Missing an attack removes all stacks. Failing to hit for a turn removes 1 stack.

Concussive Echo Passive - -

When you knock back an enemy into a wall or obstacle, on top of the regular effect of being stunned, the impact unleashes a damaging echo.

The Concussive Echo deals 10 true damage to the stunned enemy and 10 true damage to all enemies adjacent to them.

If the knockback was from Heroic Slam, all damage dealt by this echo is increased by +0.5 per Maces level.

Cripple Defense Passive - - "I see the way you're hobbling around. It makes you all the more predictable."
Receive 10% less damage for every cripple wound on the attacker.
Crippling Carnage Target Ability 40 8 "Crippled things are always more beautiful. Don't you agree?"
Swing your mace at up to 3 targets in a front of you with +60% cripple chance.
Daze for Days Passive - - "Stunning, isn't it?"

Stuns inflicted with Maces last +1 turn.

This bonus applies to new stuns only. Extending an existing stun adds +1 turn as normal.

Exploit Weakness Upgrade - - "Break their bones, then break their will."
While Barbaric Breakthrough is active, gain +12% damage per cripple wound on target.
Gathered Strength Upgrade - - Using The Beatdown after waiting a turn deals full damage, removing the -45% damage debuff.
Heavy Heads Passive - - "An unbalanced opponent is an easy target."
Attacks with maces gain +20% damage against stunned targets.
Heroic Return Upgrade - - For each enemy knocked back by Heroic Slam, gain 25 energy, even past your maximum energy.
Heroic Slam Target Ability 50 10 "HEEEEE-AAHHHHHH!!!"
Lunge to a target up 2 tiles away, delivering a blow with +50% knockback to it and all surrounding targets.
High Grip Toggle Ability - 2 "With power such as mine, a full swing is wasted on the likes of you."
Shift the grasp on your mace further towards the head, reducing damage by 40% but increasing attack speed by 30 and reducing attack energy cost by 2.
Mace Precision Passive - - "May my hands be steady and my mace strike true!"
Gain +3 accuracy while using maces.
Mace Swiftness Passive - - "By the time they know what hit them, it will be too late."
Gain +5 attack speed while using maces.
Swift Economy Upgrade - - While High Grip is active, -20% melee ability energy cost reduction.
Tenderize Upgrade - -

If both strikes of The Beatdown hit, the target is Tenderized for 5 turns (does not stack).

Tenderized: -15% physical resist and -15% wound resist.

The Beatdown Target Ability 25 6 "And STAY down!"
Perform 2 mace attacks, each with -45% damage but +15% stun chance.
