Scrawled Notes of an Aspirant
Today I saw green fire of the Void Eye. What does it mean?
The instructors speak much of fire. To control fire, to feel fire, to take on the burning emotional climax that allows its manifestation, and I have seen its effect! But never have I seen a green fire. Even in the old stories of the first heroes, of Marcer the Mage or Thyra the Giantslayer, never has any mentioned strange fire of this kind.
I would want to see this fire more closely, but the Wardens keep such tight control over the artifacts. Perhaps the Masters do know best, but I wonder, what kind of Master I will make when I have passed my trials if I don't understand potential frequencies of this world?
