Aldrova's Rise: A History - Part 3
By Elara Swiftquill, Council of Wizards, Year 1146
Welcome back, to the final volume of the Kingdom of Aldrova's history, as penned by yours truly, Elara Swiftquill. In the previous volumes, we explored the fall of the Keripis Empire, the enigmatic Unifier, and the secrets of his magical prowess. Now, we shall delve into the golden age of the Kingdom of Aldrova, a time when the Unifier's governance ushered in an era of remarkable prosperity, expansion, and peace.
Under the Unifier's leadership, now known by the grand moniker "Aldros the Wise," the kingdom flourished. Castles were built, providing protection and stability to the surrounding lands. The people no longer lived in fear of the Gremlins, Ogres, and Wyrmbeasts that once roamed the countryside, as Aldros the Wise drove them back into the wilds, allowing for the expansion of cities and trade.
It was during this epoch that the influence of the Realm Walkers became increasingly evident. I recently chanced upon an enthralling collection of texts penned by Kletus Mheiz, who expounded upon the Realm Walkers in his volumes "The True Road to Discovery." These formidable entities, capable of journeying between disparate worlds, left behind artifacts imbued with the energies of the realms they traversed.
One cannot resist speculating if Aldros the Wise possessed awareness of these enigmatic beings and their artifacts. The Unifier's aptitude for both warfare and prosperity far exceeded that of any mortal of the era, and it is not implausible to surmise that he had access to knowledge and power beyond the realm of conventional magic. I posit that the Unifier's association with the Realm Walkers was instrumental in the kingdom's swift ascent to dominance and its enduring influence.
As we conclude this journey through the history of the Kingdom of Aldrova, I hope I have inspired you, dear reader, to ponder the significance of the Unifier's rule, and the mysteries that still surround their reign. May we continue to seek the truth, and forever question the narratives that those in power would have us believe.
